Death Penalty

This is purely my personal opinion on the issue.

I was motivated to write this post after reading the usual human rights brigades bleating on the inhumanity of capital punishment.

Let's face it, hanging is the only proven method of preventing reoffending, whether you like it or not.

All these hand-wringing idiots moaning on about how to prevent reoffending in prisioners released all too early from prison cost god knows how much in taxpayers' money. If murderers, rapists, paedophiles, muggers, armed robbers, burglars and drunk drivers who kill were topped then many people who have suffered at the hands of prisoners released early from prison would still be alive today.

Children have been murdered by known paedophiles who have been released early from jail. If such scum had been executed then these children would still be alive. There is no argument about that.

With DNA evidence it is now less likely than an innocent victim would be sent to the gallows, but if there is the slightest doubt then keep them inside for the rest of their life, or until their innocence is proven beyond doubt and the correct offender caught.

I am sick and tired of hearing about how poor criminals suffer indignity in jail, how their human rights are violated.

What about the rights of people to live their lives without being attacked, burgled or whatever?
